|
Hamilton beat Port Royal at Ballpark of Port Royal, escaping with a 7-6 win. The win in large part was due to right fielder Brad Reid. He went 2-3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Sam Malone notched his 2nd save of the season. The win has Hamilton at 6-7.
With Hamilton leading 2-1 in the top of the seventh, Reid hit a 2-run single off Port Royal hurler Wiyoto Djajadiningrat. It was the 12th hit of the season for Reid and put his team ahead, 4-1.
"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Hamilton skipper Jesús Garces.
