The 7-4 Hudson Bay win over Hialeah was due largely to Blair MacRuer. The Redwoods designated hitter was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The Dodos fall to 6-8 and continue their lackluster start in 2062.
James Carroll broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the fourth with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Redwoods in front, 4-3. For the game, Carroll went 1-3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 times.
"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Hudson Bay manager Alfonso Núñez.
