In a low-scoring contest between the Plymouth Rocks and the Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 26-year old right-handed pitcher Ron Harris proved to be the difference. The Plymouth right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Rocks win. Harris got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 7 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Chris Gibson earned the save for Plymouth, his 1st of the year.

In the bottom of the seventh, Plymouth second baseman Orlando Ramírez hit a run-scoring single to right field. The clutch hit made it 3-2, Rocks.

"It was our day today," Ramírez told the Plymouth Bulletin. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."

The loss makes the Blitzkrieg 5-9.
