Florida shortstop Munoto Kodo helped his team beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 9-2. Kodo, who is tied for 3rd in the 3AAA in home runs with 3, went 3 for 4 for the Men. Vic Lee, the winning pitcher, is now 2-1. He went 8.1 innings, allowing 2 runs on 4 hits, while fanning 9 and walking 3. The loss puts Salt Lake City at 12-4.

The game turned with no one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Kodo hit a 2-run home run off Elroy Mastenbroek. It propelled the Men into the lead, 2-0.

"I believe in our guys," said Florida skipper José Ramos. "I like the energy they're playing with."
