The Salt Lake City Buzz outlasted Tasuku Endo and the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 17-15. Endo was impressive in the loss. The Hamilton catcher slugged 3 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored three times. Salt Lake City reliever Arthur Corrigan picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Félix Pérez was saddled with the loss. Dax Marshall recorded the save, his 3rd.

Greg Hudson hit a 2-run double off Félix Pérez in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Buzz in front, 11-10. In addition to the double, Hudson had 2 singles, while going 3 for 6.

"The name of the game is scoring runs," Hudson said. "We did a good job of that today."

The win has Salt Lake City at 9-8.
