The Calgary Lynx picked up a win at Lynx Stadium, knocking off the Ft. Myers Marlins, 7-0. Starting pitcher Sidney Jones played a key role in the triumph. Ft. Myers is 9-10 after the defeat.

Tim Raines, who is tied for 6th in the 3AAA in home runs with 4, took Ft. Myers hurler Juan González deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 2-run home run put the Lynx on top, 2-0. In all, Raines had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Calgary manager Steve Duncan.
