Thunderbirds Get Hard-Earned Win
The Hamilton Thunderbirds knocked off the Port Royal Disaster, 7-6, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Freddie Morse was a big reason Hamilton won. The center fielder was 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3. The loss lowers the Port Royal record to 9-10.

The Thunderbirds were down to their last out in the bottom of the ninth inning, when 26-year old designated hitter Howard Brown landed a big blow. He turned a 1-1 sinker from Pepe Aguilar into a 2-run single. The walk-off single sent the Coyote Wildlife Refuge denizens into a frenzy and sent the Thunderbirds home with a thrilling 7-6 win.

"You can't hate how you win if you win," said Hamilton skipper Jesús Garces.
