Hartford Rallies for 5-2 Victory
|
Behind a fine performance from Joe Patrick, the Hartford Pride knocked off the Calgary Lynx, 5-2. Patrick was 3 for 4 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Pride. Glenn Patterson, now 1-1, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. With the win, Hartford upped its record to 14-8.
In the top of the eighth, Patrick put his team in front with his 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Richard Albright, made it 5-2, Hartford.
"When I'm in the lineup, I always feel like we're going to win the game," said Patrick.
