Grease Zerk did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Hialeah Dodos from being beaten, 8-6, to the Sunset District Fog at Dodos Ballpark. Zerk was 3 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Teddy Harvey collected save number 3. The 4th-place Fog now have a win-loss record of 12-11.

Brandon Pearson, the Sunset District shortstop, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Fog. For the game, Pearson went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk.

"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Sunset District manager Brady Bess.
