Lake Monsters Winners, 5-1, Over Marlins

The Vermont Lake Monsters knocked off the Ft. Myers Marlins, 5-1, in M3L Triple A action at League Park. Vermont pitcher and Milwaukee, Wisconsin, native Pancho Calderón had an outstanding performance. Vermont has a record of 11-13, placing them 7th in the Menard's AAA.
Vermont used the hitting of Dhataki Pummy to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Lake Monsters on top, 3-1. For the game, Pummy had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Lake Monsters," said Pummy.
