Pancho Zamora made an impact in the 4-3 Pawnee win over Port Royal. Zamora went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. Geoffrey McBride nailed down the save. Pawnee now sports a record of 12-12.
The ParksNRec beat the Disaster with some clutch hitting. The single by Brian Ellison in the bottom of the eighth is a good example. With two down, Ellison gave his team the lead, 4-3, when he came through with the big hit.
Pawnee manager Jesús Salazar said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
