Buzz Lose 8-6 Decision to Port Huron
Salt Lake City got a terrific game from third baseman Stephen Clifton. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Port Huron, 8-6. Clifton was 3-5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Port Huron reliever Corey Robinson got the win, raising his record to 2-0. Jesús Pérez was tagged with the loss. Mark Peterson picked up his 4th save of the season.

Gonzalo Peña went 1-4 for Port Huron. In a tie game with no one out in the bottom of the eighth, Peña came through with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Blitzkrieg in front, 7-6.

"We maximized our offense today," said Port Huron skipper Mike Nyberg. "That makes everyone's life easier."

The Blitzkrieg raised their record to 9-15.
