Men left fielder Shannon Miller put his stamp on his team's 11-4 win over the Port Royal Disaster. Miller was 3-5 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for Florida in the contest. Florida pitcher Michael Hamilton got the win. He's now 3-0. Alvin Buchanan was tagged with the loss. Florida is now 13-13, Port Royal 8-18.

The Men got a big boost from designated hitter Eulogio Churruca who had a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the fifth inning off Disaster hurler Alvin Buchanan. It was his 17th walk of the season and put Florida on top, 5-4.

"We came out aggressive," said Men manager Caetano Alfena. "We came out swinging the bats."
