Pérez Paces Disaster to 3-0 Win
|
Port Royal pitcher José Pérez did his part in helping his team defeat the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 3-0. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Port Royal's record now stands at 9-18, placing them last in the Menard's AAA.
Pérez's performance can only be described as masterful. He notched 6 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing 5 hits. Pérez, who is tied for 6th in the 3AAA in strikeouts with 35, goes to 1-2 on the year with 35 strikeouts.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Hamilton manager Miguel Uribe.
