The Hamilton Thunderbirds beat the Ft. Myers Marlins, 8-7, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. The Thunderbirds got a fine performance from right fielder Brad Reid, who was 2-4 with 2 home runs and 2 walks, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Dillon Khassanov came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. The 10th-place Thunderbirds have a record of 12-16.

Reid delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the tenth to win it for Hamilton. In the contest, Reid hit 2 home runs, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice.
