Peck Pops Two Homers in 7-5 Win for Norfolk
The Norfolk Pajaritos defeated the Florida Men, 7-5. Center Fielder Alan Peck deserved a large share of the credit. Peck belted 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for the Pajaritos. Sumiteru Uemura, the winner, is now 3-0. He struck out 5 and walked 3 over 7 innings, while allowing 4 runs on 7 hits. The Pajaritos improved to a lofty 22-6.

With Norfolk trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the third, Peck hit a knuckle curve from Júlio Ramírez for a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Pajaritos ahead, 4-1.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Peck.
