Dodos Top Buzz to Even Record
|
The Hialeah Dodos topped the Salt Lake City Buzz, 5-2, in M3L Triple A action at Spirits Stadium. The game was highlighted by the performance of Hialeah pitcher Ricky Dotson. Dotson, now 1-0, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 8, walking 5, and allowing no runs. Shawn Walker closed it out for Hialeah, earning his 6th save.
With one out in the top of the second, John Robinson put Hialeah in front, 1-0, with a run-scoring single. The Dodos went on to win the ballgame.
Robinson said his team "played with determination."
At 15-15, the Dodos find themselves in 7th place in the Menard's AAA.
