Hot Chickens Tag Men with 5-1 Loss
Wendell Latham, who is tied for 10th in the 3AAA with a 1.30 WHIP, never let the Men get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Hot Chickens to a win, 5-1. The Hot Chickens raised their record to 14-18.

Nashville won the game in part because of Yong-hoon Pak. The center fielder ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hot Chickens ahead, 3-0. For the game, Pak had 1 double and 1 home run in 5 at-bats.

"All in all, I thought Wendell pitched a fine game for us tonight," said Nashville manager Paul Dawsey.
