Port Huron beat Salt Lake City at Port Huron Park, escaping with a 5-4 win. The win in large part was due to designated hitter Mike Sherman. He was 2-3 with a double and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs. Port Huron is now 10-23. Salt Lake City is 19-14.

The Blitzkrieg relied on catcher Zachary Spilsbury for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the ninth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
