Thunderbirds Absorb 3-1 Home Loss
|
Coyote Wildlife Refuge was the site of a competitive game between the Hamilton Thunderbirds and Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys.
Syracuse pitcher Ronald McDonald did his part in helping his team defeat the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 3-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Syracuse has now won 9 straight.
With two out in the top of the fifth, Dennis Moore put Syracuse in front, 2-1, with a run-scoring single. The Squirrel Monkeys went on to win the ballgame.
"Obviously, you want to go out there and be good every time out," said McDonald. "I take the ball every day with the same mindset."
