Pawnee got an elite performance from starting pitcher Francisco Torres in securing a 2-1 decision over the Florida Men. Getting the save was Geoffrey McBride, his 4th. The ParksNRec win now puts them at 15-19.

Brian Ellison, who is tied for 5th in the 3AAA with a .356 batting average, aided the Pawnee cause with a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the second. For the game, the center fielder was 1-3 with a walk.

"I tell our guys all the time, 'Every pitch is the right pitch if you put it in the right place, you believe in it and have conviction,'" Pawnee manager Jesús Salazar said.
