The Hartford Pride defeated the Port Royal Disaster, 4-3, in M3L Triple A action at Ballpark of Port Royal. Hartford pitcher Rudy Savage had a standout performance. The winner was Savage. He threw 5.2 innings allowing 3 runs. The loser was Vince Barnard. The third-place Pride go to 21-13.

Steve Allison helped his team jump on top from the get-go. His first time up in the top of the first, he hit a 0-1 changeup from Vince Barnard for a bases-clearing double, to give Hartford a 3-0 lead.

"This team keeps finding a way to win," said Hartford manager Tim Fowler.
