Disaster Earn Win with Late Rally
Port Royal starter Ron Woods pitched well against the Norfolk Pajaritos at Ballpark of Port Royal. The right-hander led his team to a win, 5-4. The winner was Port Royal reliever Edward Brown, now 2-0. The loser was Tom Ferguson. The first-place Pajaritos now sit at 27-8.

In the bottom of the ninth, with no one out and the game tied, 4-4, 24-year old catcher Clint Saunders won it for Port Royal. With runners on 1st and 3rd, Saunders hit a 0-1 forkball from Tom Ferguson for a run-scoring single, giving his team the 5-4 win.

"Ron was doing a good job pouring in strikes," said Port Royal manager Miguel Aguilar.
