The Hartford Pride beat the Calgary Lynx, 9-3, at Pride Park. Hartford catcher Clint McBride collected 2 singles and 1 double with 2 runs batted in. Alonso Álvarez got the win, improving to 3-0. "That was not our best effort," said Calgary skipper Steve Duncan.

By defeating Calgary, the third-place Pride improved to 23-14.
