Slumping Thunderbirds Lose 9th Straight
The 2061 season is going from bad to worse for Hamilton.

The timely hitting of Robert Block helped the Sunset District Fog down the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 5-3. Block went 2-3 with a home run and a walk for the Fog. Adrián Correa snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-3 on the season. Gerald Jones suffered the loss.

Late in the game, first baseman Carlos García had a big at-bat for Sunset District. In the bottom of the eighth, he hit a run-scoring single off Jesse Clark. The play gave the Fog a 4-3 lead.

Hamilton manager Jesús Garces, after yet another defeat, said: "We don't want to panic. At the same time, we need to stop the bleeding."

Hamilton is in the throes of a losing streak which has reached 9 games.
