The Plymouth Rocks beat the Florida Men, 7-5. Plymouth pitcher and Brooklyn, New York, native Augusto Jaimes led the way. Jaimes yielded 2 runs over 6.2 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 1, and struck out 6. His record improves to 3-3. The Rocks go to 20-22, putting them 8th in the Menard's AAA.
In the bottom of the fifth, Plymouth second baseman Jed Price had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Price stroked a 2-run single to right. It made the score 4-2, Plymouth. For the game, he was 1 for 4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"I felt good. I felt like I was locating the ball well and I was able to keep them off-balance," said Jaimes.
