Black Mambas Use Late Score to Top Squirrel Monkeys, 5-4

For the home crowd, it was a thrilling walk-off win.
The Austin Black Mambas had to overcome a fine effort from Syracuse pitcher Joel Woodard to win, 5-4, in 10 innings at Mamba Park. Woodard went 8.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. Austin is now 26-19, while Syracuse is 26-19.
The Black Mambas relied on right fielder Emory Mills for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the tenth, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring single to seal the deal.
"The house was rockin'," said Mills.
