Buzz Suffer 8-7 Loss to Men

Salt Lake City second baseman Yodo Hirose had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Florida at Psychos Ballpark. Hirose went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Mike Allen was credited with the save for Florida, his 8th of the season. Florida currently is in third place in the Menard's AAA at 27-18.
The game was at a stalemate until pinch hitter Jim Rogers came to bat in the bottom of the eighth. Facing Salt Lake City pitcher Charles Jones, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Florida on top, 8-7.
"We've got a great group of guys," Rogers said, "and we're having fun right now."
