In a low-scoring contest between the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys and the Syracuse Starks, Pete Scott was the X factor. The Syracuse right-hander spearheaded the 3-2 win. Scott got the win, improving to 1-1. He gave up 5 hits and walked 2 over 8 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The win puts Syracuse at 8-5.
