Blitzkrieg Lose to Port Royal, 4-1

The home crowd had a good time watching the Port Huron Blitzkrieg and Port Royal Disaster get after it.
The Port Royal Disaster got a stellar effort from pitcher Alvin Buchanan, helping Port Royal score a win over the visiting Port Huron Blitzkrieg, 4-1. Edward Brown sewed up the save, his 5th.
Kernie LeBlanc drew 1 walk for Port Royal. The 22-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Brandon Mitchell. It was his 7th RBI of the season.
In postgame comments to the Port Royal Bulletin, Buchanan said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
Port Royal goes to 21-25, Port Huron to 18-28.
