Stufi Excels, But Redwoods Win
Ft. Myers third baseman Gerald Stufi had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 14-5, to Hudson Bay at Redwood Field. Stufi belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Hudson Bay now has a record of 27-21 with the win.

Tied up with the Marlins in the bottom of the fourth inning, the Redwoods got a boost from shortstop Brandon Sosa. With the bases loaded, Sosa saw a 3-0 fastball from Tanner Williamson and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Hudson Bay on top, 5-3.

"We hit the ball hard," said Hudson Bay manager Alfonso Núñez. "Line drive after line drive."
