Syracuse Rallies for 4-2 Win
|
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Syracuse Starks, 4-2, in USPL Triple A action at The Zoo in Syracuse. The game was highlighted by the performance of Syracuse pitcher Todd Turner. Ben Lane sewed up the save, his 5th. The defeat makes the Starks 5-9.
Syracuse went up, 3-2, on Zico Point du Jour, Jr.'s 1st double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Point du Jour, Jr. hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Syracuse pitcher Robbie Stanley shaking his head.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Homer Robertson.
