The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys defeated the Sacramento Redlegs, 8-4, in USPL Triple A action at Sacramento Sanitation Station. Syracuse pitcher J.J. Hebert had a standout performance. Sacramento drops to 5-9.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for José Padilla? The Syracuse right fielder had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the third inning to put the Squirrel Monkeys on top, 2-1. For the game, Padilla had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"We did more than enough to get the win," said Padilla.
