González goes 4-for-5 to Ignite Disaster Offense
The Port Royal Disaster beat the Salt Lake City Buzz, 7-4, at Spirits Stadium. Port Royal shortstop Francisco González had an outstanding performance. He went 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner in relief was Bobby Vaughn. He is now 2-0. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.1 innings. Pepe Aguilar picked up his 10th save of the season.

The Disaster got a clutch hit from Troy Swati with two out in the top of the eighth inning. Swati jumped on a first pitch curveball from Brad Bray and hit a 2-run single, staking his club to a 7-4 lead.

"We'll just keep our nose to the grindstone," Swati told the Port Royal Daily News.

Port Royal is now 18-30.
