The Hartford Pride defeated the Salt Lake City Buzz, 6-4, at Spirits Stadium. Hartford left fielder Martinho Vido had a superb performance. He was 3 for 4 with 3 singles. He drove in 3 runs. The win gives Hartford a season record of 29-20.

Vido had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run single. The Pride went on to win.

In postgame comments to the Hartford Daily, Vido said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
