Syracuse took on Sioux Falls in front of a lively crowd.

The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys downed the Sioux Falls Red Pandas, 8-1, at The Bamboo Forest. Stellar pitching by Micheal Bly had a lot to do with it. The right-hander, who is tied for 9th in the 3AAA with a 1.15 WHIP, handcuffed his opponent all game. The Squirrel Monkeys improved their record to 29-21 with the win over Sioux Falls.

The Red Pandas had trouble solving Bly, who surrendered 1 run on 4 hits over 8 innings.

"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Squirrel Monkeys," said Bly.
