Men Deal Black Mambas 13-5 Setback
The Austin Black Mambas and Florida Men were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Florida Men trumped the Austin Black Mambas, 13-5, at Psychos Ballpark. Florida first baseman Dillon Bert was terrific. He went 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. Ikaia Duncalf earned the win to go to 3-8. He allowed 3 runs on 7 hits, with 5 walks and 5 strikeouts in 5 innings of work. Earning his 1st save for Florida was Lynn Anderson.

A key moment came in the bottom of the third inning when Men right fielder Jorge Dorantes socked a 2-1 fastball to right for a run-scoring single, putting Florida up, 5-3.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Dorantes.

Florida currently is in last place in the Menard's AAA at 18-33.
