Pawnee starter Raph Liberato pitched well against the Florida Men at Whips Ballpark. The left-hander led his team to a win, 6-3. Carlton Taylor closed the game out for Pawnee, earning his 8th save. Florida's current losing streak has reached 4 games.
The Men had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the ParksNRec going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 23-year old catcher Luis Hernández came to the plate. Hernández hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 cutter from Florida hurler Júlio Ramírez. It was Hernández's 10th double of the year.
