It was pandemonium at Spirits Stadium after an exciting walk-off win.

The Salt Lake City Buzz topped the Hudson Bay Redwoods, 5-4, in M3L Triple A action at Spirits Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Salt Lake City pitcher and New York, native Dan Cortés. Salt Lake City reliever Manuel Peña was the winner. His record is now 2-2. Nicholas Reyes took the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Salt Lake City shortstop Yodo Hirose, facing Nicholas Reyes, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Buzz the 5-4 win.

"You can't take yourself too seriously," Cortés told the Salt Lake City Gazette. "But at the end of the day, we do play to win ballgames."

Salt Lake City now owns a record of 27-26.
