Squirrel Monkeys, Hill Deal Men 7-0 Setback
|
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys extended their winning streak.
Brian Hill was superb against Florida. The right-hander, who is tied for 2nd in the 3AAA with a 8 quality starts, had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Squirrel Monkeys victory. The score was 7-0. Syracuse has an impressive 35-18 record.
Hill earned the win to move to 7-2. In his 8-inning performance, he scattered 3 hits, striking out 9 and walking 2. The right-hander allowed the Men few scoring opportunities.
"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Hill.
