Getting a good performance from second baseman Matt Dunham, the Syracuse Starks defeated the Sacramento Redlegs, 16-6. Dunham belted 3 home runs, while scoring 4 and driving in 6 for the Starks. The loss lowers the Sacramento record to 9-7.

Early in the game, Dunham had a 2-run home run for Syracuse. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Starks on top, 3-1.
