John Willis, who leads the 3AAA in quality starts with 9, was locked in. The right-hander led the Pawnee ParksNRec to a 3-0 win against the Salt Lake City Buzz at Whips Ballpark. Willis got the win, improving to 7-3. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7 innings. He allowed no runs. With the win, Pawnee pushed its record to 31-24.

Dave Foster had a big run-scoring triple for the ParksNRec in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Pawnee leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a cutter from 39-year old right-handed pitcher Manny Guerra and swatted a triple to center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the ParksNRec ahead, 2-0.
