The Austin Black Mambas picked up a win at Mamba Park, knocking off the Port Royal Disaster, 6-3. Starting pitcher Quinton Lee played a key role in the triumph. The 8th-place Black Mambas are now 26-30, the Disaster 27-29.

The Disaster had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Black Mambas going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 27-year old center fielder Bruce Booth came to the plate. Booth hit a bases-clearing triple on a 1-2 fastball from Port Royal hurler Andrew MacEwen. It was Booth's 2nd triple of the year.

Booth called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
