Thunderbirds Squelch Disaster Offense in Shutout Win
The Port Royal Disaster went down to defeat to Donald Kane and his Hamilton teammates. The final score was 3-0, in favor of the Thunderbirds. Felipe Hernández picked up the save for Hamilton, his 3rd of the year. Hamilton, with the win, climbs to 17-39.

Ron Johnson had a big 2-run triple for the Thunderbirds in the bottom of the first inning. With Hamilton leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a cutter from 32-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Aguirre and swatted a triple to right. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Thunderbirds ahead, 3-0.

Kane said his team "played with focus."
