Salt Lake City right fielder Todd Bowers was sensational. He was 2 for 5 with a home run, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Sunset District beat the Buzz, 11-8, in 10 innings. Picking up the save was Teddy Harvey, his 13th. Sunset District is 8th in the Menard's AAA with a record of 28-32.

Luis Hernández had the most critical at-bat for Sunset District. With two in the top of the tenth inning, Hernández hit a first pitch fastball from Chris Edwards for a run-scoring single. It put Sunset District in front, 9-8.

In comments to the Sunset District Daily, Hernández admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
