Hensley Slugs Lynx to 15-4 Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Calgary Lynx and Hamilton Thunderbirds.

The Calgary Lynx beat the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 15-4, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. Kurt Hensley, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-5 with 2 home runs, while adding 7 RBI and scoring twice. Gregory Cameron earned the win to go to 5-1. He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, with no walks and 8 strikeouts in 7.2 innings of work.

With Calgary leading 4-3 in the top of the seventh, Hensley hit a fastball from Casper Trout for a 3-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Lynx ahead, 7-3.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Hensley.

The Menard's AAA-leading Lynx have a record of 40-21.
