Pride Park was the site for M3L Triple A action featuring the Hartford Pride and Plymouth Rocks.

Ted Garrett did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to keep the Hartford Pride from being beaten, 8-4, to the Plymouth Rocks at Pride Park. Garrett slugged 2 home runs. Bruce Viera, the winning pitcher, improved to 1-1. He pitched 7 innings, giving up 8 hits and 4 runs, while striking out 5 and walking 1. Eric Truax closed the door for Plymouth, picking up his 2nd save of the year.

Plymouth used the hitting of Porter Howell to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the first inning to put the Rocks on top, 1-0. For the game, Howell had 1 home run and 1 single in 3 at-bats.

"We're playing like we're capable of," said Plymouth manager Gerald Clark.
