The Sacramento Redlegs picked up a win at Sacramento Sanitation Station, dropping the Syracuse Starks, 4-2. Ken Milligan was the difference-maker. Sacramento reliever Ken Milligan got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Steve Ward was tagged with the loss. Chris Evans earned the save for Sacramento, his 6th.

Lou de Klerk hit a run-scoring double off Steve Ward in the bottom of the fourth, which put the Redlegs in front, 1-0. In addition to the double, de Klerk had 3 singles, while going 4 for 4.

Syracuse manager Gabriel Madrigal said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.

The loss drops Syracuse to 7-11.
