Dodos Suffer 6-3 Loss to Fog
|
The Sunset District Fog cut down the Hialeah Dodos by the score of 6-3, with the largest share of the credit going to designated hitter Diego Guerra. Guerra was 2-2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 for the Fog. Andrew Martin picked up the win, lifting his record to 3-1 on the season. He struck out 2 and walked 3 in 7.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. Lowell Nash closed the door for Sunset District, picking up his 1st save of the year.
Thomas Austin, who is tied for 7th in the 3AAA in triples with 2, aided the Sunset District cause with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the second. For the game, the second baseman went 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
