The Salt Lake City Buzz and Port Royal Disaster delighted fans at Ballpark of Port Royal.

Port Royal pitcher Vince Barnard had a large part in his team subduing the Salt Lake City Buzz, 6-2. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the right-hander. The Disaster go to 26-38 with the win.

The Buzz had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Disaster going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old catcher Jake Green came to the plate. Green hit a run-scoring double on a first pitch curveball from Salt Lake City hurler Ben Griffin. It was Green's 6th double of the year.

Barnard said his team "played with determination."
