Jones, Calgary Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
Calgary used a superb performance from starting pitcher Sidney Jones to down the Vermont Lake Monsters, 2-1. Kjeld Burger got credit for the save for Calgary. It was his 1st of the year. Calgary leads the Menard's AAA by 5 games.

Jones earned the win, going 8 strong innings for Calgary. The right-hander allowed just 3 hits, while striking out 7. Vermont hitters had little success against him.

"Sidney was hitting his spots and everything had life," said Calgary manager Steve Duncan.
