Stephen Jones, who was drafted in the 2nd round of the 2058 draft, was brilliant in helping Sunset District beat the Plymouth Rocks, 3-1. The winner was Jones. He threw 8.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Edgardo García. At 31-35, the Fog claim 8th place in the Menard's AAA.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Fog had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the top of the first, when catcher Iván Vargas hit a 2-run single. The single came off Edgardo García and made the score 3-0, Fog. Vargas was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.

"Getting ahead of the hitters was the key," said Jones.
